The New Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Food and Clothing Ministry.

New Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church based on the result of (a) perceived need, (b) determination to make positive efforts, (c) the cooperation of a broad spectrum of the religious community, (d) the contribution of some areas of private enterprise, and (e) the dedication, skills, and abilities of its congregation seeks to implement the aforementioned ministry.

Mission - To reach out to families that cannot afford to provide for all their food and clothing needs.

Purpose - To help the poor: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in ..." Matthew 25:35

Goal - To provide a food and clothing program to low-income and at-risk residents in the community.  Food will be through donation and distributed to families each month.  Bakery goods will also be available.

What does the Food and Clothing Ministry do?

On the 3rd Saturday of the month, we open our doors so that eligible families can come and receive food and clothes. We are here to help, so please call us if you're struggling or know someone who is struggling with a need for food and clothes!

We would greatly appeciate your food /clothing donatins.  You may drop them off at the Church Office.  Please make sure the clothing items are clean and in good condition and food items are non-perishable.

Suggested Clothing Items for Donations:  men, women, children's clothing, shoes, all sizes

Suggested Food Items for Donations: peanut butter, dried beans, tuna, canned chicken, canned vegetables, milk (dry or evaported), cooking oil, shortening, corn meal, flour, salt, sugar, soups (canned or dehydrated), pancake mix, pasta (spaghetti or macaroni), crackers, canned meats and stews, pork and beans, rice, cornbread mix, diet foods (low in sugar and salt), spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, fruits (canned and dehydrated), honey, syrup, jelly, juices, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, cereals, oats, or grits

Applicants - All interested applicants are required to complete an application and present a picture ID along with a current utility bill
