Nehemiah Christian Academy

The Nonpublic School Early Childhood Development Program (NSECD) provides low-income families the opportunity to send their children to state-approved private preschools and child care centers. The program provides six hours of daily instruction.

Nehemiah Christian Academy’s NSECD program offers a structural learning foundation, while providing a loving, safe environment.   Our lead teacher is a retired Caddo Parish Pre-k teacher. With her experience with working with younger children, she is able to help prepare them for their future educational endeavors.

Our students are introduced to  the beginning sounds of letters, which will translate to them being able to identify words and read short sentences.  They also learn sequence, positions, letter and number formation,  letter and number recognition, and problem solving.

Throughout the years of  Nehemiah Christian Academy’s NSECD program, we’ve had over 80% of our students test and gain acceptance into one of the local Magnet programs.

This center accepts child care assistance and all teachers are CPR certified.  The center is open from Mon -Fri 7:00 am - 6:00 pm to accomodate working families. Ages from 6 weeks(infant) to 13 years of age.  Transportation is provided.
